I’m thinking a couple of borders, maybe a thin one and a wide one, the wide one possibly appliquéd.

I love your kitten and the kitten quilt you made of him/her. The small Janome machine is fascinating, hadn’t seen one before. Glad your daughter is into sewing on her machine.
